One MusicFest - Atlanta Featuring Chrisette Michele

Atlanta, August 27, 2011

With clear skys and beautiful weather, this year's One Musicfest was in full swing on Saturday August 27 where over 2,000 viewers gathered at Park Tavern located in Midtown Atlanta to see musical artists ranging from alternative rock to hip-hop. Musical artists Chrisette Michele, Anthony David, The Foreign Exchange, Anoop Desai, Pharcyde, Kyron Leslie and Tortured Soul took the stage to entertain the Atlanta audience during the 11 hour outdoor musical event as viewers enjoyed good food and drinks provided by Park Tavern restaurant. Mr. Anthony David was an early favorite, taking the stage at 4pm singing songs from his "As Above So Below" project.

The most anticipated artist of the night came from Miss Chrisette Michele, who step out with her beautiful royal blue and black dress, 5 inch royal blue and pink stilettos and flawless makeup. Miss Michele took center stage at 10pm singing a few of her lastest songs from her most recent project, along with a beautiful gospel rendition of "Praise to You" with her back-up singer. This was definitely a musical night to remember.

Atlanta - Fashion Night Out

Atlanta Event - September 8-12, 2011

If you have a passion for fashion and will be in Atlanta between September 8-12th, then you probably don't want to miss the opportunity to be entertained by Atlanta's Fashion Icons and trends-setters. Atlanta's own Mayor Kasim Reed will be on deck and he states, "Last year, I hit the shops, and I plan to again this year. Those who know me know that I appreciate fashion, and I am thrilled that Atlanta is a fashion-conscious city.”

The event will honor those who have in many instances "lit-up" the run-way in fashion and paved the way for all of our Honey-coated and Chocolate-shaded Americans. Tyson Beckford and Kenny Lattimore along with other notable designers will recognize the fashion legends Bethann Hardison and the late fashion designer Willi Smith at the A Night To Remember event at Atlantic Station. Some of the sponsor's include Bentley, Moda Creative Design, and Vitamin Water.

Fun2No Celebrity of the Week - Jada Pinkett Smith

Fun2no celebrity of the week, Jada Pinkett Smith, brings high fashion and sass to the fashion scene. Jada Pinkett Smith stars as Christina Hawthorne in TNT’s medical drama “Hawthorne.” In the role of Chief Nursing Officer at James River Hospital, Christina is forced to juggle the roles and subsequent relationships that are demanded of her as a professional, mother, friend and love interest. Jada notably serves as Executive Producer on the show through Overbrook Entertainment following her initial foray into the role of Executive Producer on the 2008 movie “The Secret Life of Bees” (based on the bestselling novel by author Sue Monk Kidd).

Jada on putting family first: “I had to make choices. Believe me, I would still be on the road with my band, Wicked Wisdom, and making as many movies as I can a year, and doing all sorts of other things if I didn’t have the responsibility of a family. But I have children with their own talents and dreams, and I know I have to be standing next to them for that journey.”

Jada on giving up on her rockstar dreams: “It was excruciating, completely excruciating. When Jaden was auditioning for The Pursuit of Happyness, my band had just gotten an offer to open for Guns N’ Roses in Europe. For me, that was unbelievable. But the choice was: I could be a rock star, or I could be on the set with my son to make sure he was healthy and happy. We all know how that story ended!”

Jada on raising her kids in Hollywood: “Let me tell you what I fear most: Them growing up like I did, in a house with drugs in a war zone, where if I walked out my door I could be shot. Hollywood ain’t nothing compared to that! Growing up in the streets of Baltimore, or the streets of Philly where Will grew up - I’d rather have my kids here. It still makes me nervous that they’re part of something that isn’t totally real, but it’s up to Will and me to teach them what’s real and what’s not.”
